The bike share program started after members of BEAST recognized it was a service that was greatly needed at and around the St. Thomas community. The rising costs of gas and public transportation have made transportation unaffordable for many people. The bike share program provides an affordable and sustainable solution to the limited choices of transportation that are currently available. The bike share program allows anyone who needs access to a bike to be able to check out a bike with a bike lock free of charge.

The Bikes

We have a wide variety of bicycles for use including road bikes, single speeds, cruisers, mountain bikes, and hybrids. The bikes are in a range of sizes to accomodate the shortest of people to the tallest.
